April Banner: Meg Lewis

The fourth banner in a series of twelve released monthly throughout 2021 was designed by Meg Lewis, and chainstitched by Jenna Blazevich.

A raffle for the banner will run from 4/23/21-4/30/21, and 100% of the money raised will be donated to Juxtaposition Arts.

From Meg: “This phrase is something that I come back to that has an impact on everything I do. Whether I’m grabbing a cup of coffee, designing a mural, or just being my goofy self on social media, I always try real darn hard to leave every space better than I found it (Airbnb hosts love me!). And what better place to donate raffle proceeds to than Juxtaposition Arts! Juxtaposition Arts is a teen-staffed art and design center, gallery, retail shop, and studio space in North Minneapolis. They are currently the only Black-led art & design org in North Minneapolis (going on 25 years baby!) and are now raising capital to invest in their facilities, programming, and creative futures of youth in North Minneapolis. Let’s help them create a strong cultural ecosystem for another 25 years+++ in North Minneapolis!!!”
